Indian middle test batsmen and former team captain Rahul Dravid has undergone corrective surgery after he was hit by a short delivery left upper jaw. The incident took place in the second and final test between India and Bangladesh as India was well placed when India reached 368 runs for the loss of two wickets with Dravid and Sachin both scored century. When he reached 111 runs, he got hit by a bouncer delivery bowled by Shahdat Hossain which went through the open space of the helmet and severely attacked on his left upper jaw.
